Hi Renee,
This is Diane from the TOS Crew. I am sitting here just laughing at myself. You see, I sent you an e-mail asking about your blog. I didn’t hear back so I decided I would just Google you and see what I came up with. So I did and I found you. But I am looking at the picture of you with “Helen.” And I’m thinking, why does she have two people in the picture, and which one is her? One looks rather young, but what if she is the older lady? I mean, she was so funny in her post yesterday to the First Mates, I can’t imagine she’s the serious looking one on the right!
So I finally get to this post that explains that you are posing with a wax figure of Helen Keller. It strikes me as just too funny that I, a person with 20/20 corrected vision, can’t figure out that I am looking at a woman posing next to a wax statue. I guess the irony of it all just struck me funny! I am actually laughing out loud at myself!
BTW, another ironic thing is that I literally had JUST mentioned in my blog post yesterday that Helen Keller was one of my childhood heroes!
